ACTOR'S CENTER INAUGURAL MENTORSHIP GROUP ✨

June 2025. Joyce is closing out 8 months in the inaugural cohort of the Actor's Center Mentorship Program for Early Career Artists. In which she received world class programming and mentorship from practitioners including Alison Cimmet, Kate Abbruzzese, Ron Van Lieu, and Peter Jay Fernandez, among many others. And grew in beautiful collaboration and community.

May 14 - June 1 2025. Joyce was Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest at the Shakespeare Theatre of NJ. Directed by Brian B. Crowe.

FESTE IN TWELFTH NIGHT AT THEATRE SQUARED X NAATCO X PLAYON SHAKESPEARE 🃏

March 2025. Joyce was Feste in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at Theatre Squared in Fayetteville, AR. This Modern Verse translation of Twelfth Night was penned by Alison Carey and directed by Aneesha Kudtarkar. A coproduction with NAATCO and PlayOn Shakespeare. Featuring original songs, compositions, and accompaniments by Joyce herself.

April - May 2024. Joyce played Yuen/Four in The Far Country at Yale Repertory Theatre. Directed by Ralph B. Peña, penned by Lloyd Suh.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL AT ALABAMA SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL 🎄

Nov - Dec 2023. Joyce made her regional theatre debut in the company of A Christmas Carol at Alabama Shakespeare Festival, directed by then Artistic Director Rick Dildine. She took on the role of Patience and accompanied the show with guitar and ukulele in an ensemble of actor-musicians, bringing Christmas cheer to the city of Montgomery and it's surrounding areas.

BOUNTY IN CHINATOWN PREMIERES AT READINGFILMFEST 🩸

October 2023. Bounty in Chinatown had its film festival debut at ReadingFilmFEST. By LF8 Studios, starring Simon Shih, Spike Zhao, and Joyce Meimei Zheng.

MACBETH WITH DOUBLE FEATURE PLAYS 🔪

August 2023. In "the dank unfinished basement of [a Brooklyn] Brownstone" overlooking Prospect Park, you could find 6 actors, and the story of Macbeth. Joyce had the privilege of being a player, and a witch, in this story.

Directed by Mikhaela Mahony, in conjunction with Katherine Wilkinson's Midsummer, the two plays formed the inaugural double feature of Double Feature Plays. Read a review.
